ABOUT ADRA HONG KONG
ADRA Limited was first registered in Hong Kong, through a Memorandum of Association in December 1995. Under the name ADRA China, the office implemented humanitarian and development projects in mainland China for more than 20 years.
Since 2016, the strategic outlook was changed to transition ADRA China from an implementing office to a supporting office. Special emphasis was given to increase private donations in Hong Kong and funding from the Hong Kong Government Disaster Relief Fund (HKGDRF) for disaster relief outside of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
In 2022, ADRA China was rebranded as ADRA Hong Kong, a supporting office within the ADRA Network. ADRA Hong Kong focuses on emergency response as well as continuing other minor projects locally and internationally in Livelihoods.
